These Shaft Connect aftermarket replacement weights provide a satin black PVD option for select Scotty Cameron putters equipped with large-thread sole weights. Choose a replacement for your existing weights or select a different gram weight to change putter head weight and overall feel.

Each selection contains 2 matching black PVD putter weights.

AVAILABLE WEIGHTS

You will receive a pair of 2 matching weights in the gram weight selected.

These weights feature a satin black PVD finish for a fully black appearance.

COMPATIBLE WITH

Designed for Scotty Cameron putters equipped with the large-thread, 5-pin weight design.

Scotty Cameron putters have used more than one weight thread size across different models and generations. Because there is no comprehensive published compatibility list covering every putter, the model name alone should not be used to determine fit.

For the most reliable fit check, remove one of the weights currently installed in your putter and inspect the threads. Compare your existing weight with the large-thread design shown in the product images before ordering.

SELECTING A DIFFERENT PUTTER WEIGHT

A heavier or lighter pair of sole weights provides a way to change the overall head weight and feel of your putter. This can be particularly useful after a playing-length change or when experimenting with a different putter setup.

Reasons for selecting a different weight pair may include:

  • Increasing or decreasing putter head weight
  • Adjusting overall putter feel
  • Making a playing-length change
  • Testing different weight setups
  • Club fitting or custom builds
  • Replacing worn, lost, or damaged weights

INSTALLING & REMOVING THE WEIGHTS

The 5-pin design requires a compatible Scotty Cameron-style putter weight tool for removal and installation.

An installation/removal tool is not included with this weight pair.

I customized my 35 inch Scotty Studio Design Squareback 2 by reshafting it with a black KBS CT Tour 120 shaft, midsize Scotty Cameron Red and Black Matador grip, cutting it to a 34 1/4 inch playing length and then finally finishing it off by replacing the stock 10 gram weights with black-centered 15 gram weights from ShaftConnect.

Mike was nice enough to swap out the 25g weights for the 40g for me. Love the feel of a heavier putter. Wish they would come in 45 or 50g in the black/chrome version. Had 33 putts with 2x 3-putts the first time I used this new setup. Took some getting use to but I really like how this felt. Would buy from again for sure.

I really like these weights. Not gonna knock a star for what I found. Word of warning…the holes in the SC weights are not the same depth as the Titleist ones. You can see the removal tool fits flush in the Cameron weights but the holes are too shallow in the SC for the prongs to be fully seated. If you’re not careful when installing your new SC weights I can see the tool slipping. The holes should either be the same depth as the Cameron weights or the prongs on their removal tool should be the same length as the depth on their weights. IMO the removal tool should be fully seated. Just a heads up. Easy install and removal though. No complaints. Wish the weights came heavier in the chrome/black version. 40g feels pretty good in my 36.5” putter. I did hit the face of the weights with a little polish too. Just to clean them up a little. They look really good.

Weights are great. Only concern with these is that one of them tightens upside down opposite to the other weight. Tried tightening the weights from different positions but still ended up opposite of the other. All in all my putting was lights out increasing my weights from 30s to 40s. And it matches perfect with my Scotty.

I had been wanting to try some heavier weights in my Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5 for a while now. I came across this company and was excited with the options. The weights are perfect! The actual weight is accurate (25g) and the tool worked perfectly to remove/replace the weights! Anyone in the market for some head weights should ABSOLUTELY look right here!

The sale, delivery, product was fine but the product is subpar for what I want/need. Had my SC 5.5 blacked out & these “black” weights are partially black, shiny paint… maybe go on Embrace, NorCal, Mainely Putters etc.. and paint your weights to jive with the trend of blacked out putters.. I’m having to send them in to get painted.. so not ideal.. cheers
