Changing the club head back weight was part of a two step process to improve my drives. After putting a 42.5" shaft (basically a 3 wood shaft) on my driver, the club was way to light and my drives were all over the place. I had to add weight to the club head. The combination of shorter shaft and some additional club head weight has worked well for me. I am hitting fairways more consistently now than with the original (45.75") shaft. I still hit some bad shots but they are in the rough now, not OB.I have not lost a ball off the tee in 4 rounds. The additional weight has slowed my swing speed & improved my tempo. I may have lost a few yards off the tee but not as much as you might think. I am hitting the ball higher and it is carrying further in the air. The shorter shaft and additional club head weight have significantly improved my drives.

I did weigh the insert, and it was very close to 26 gm on my scales that are known to be pretty close, but are not calibrated. It also installed correctly. I make this comment as I had bought this item previously from a different supplier, and it did not fit. Very pleased, and very quick delivery too!
